Who We Are
Living Hope Church is a God-centered church being planted in Salt Lake City, Utah. We seek to glorify God by faithfully proclaiming His Word, exalting Jesus Christ, and making disciples through the life of the local church, with a particular focus on reaching Slavic people.
Our Story
Our story is a testimony of God’s providence and grace in leading our family into gospel ministry and the planting of a local church.
After many years of ministry and theological preparation in Ukraine, the Lord led our family to the United States. Here, we became increasingly aware of the spiritual needs among Slavic people. Many were living without knowing God and without the hope of the true gospel, scattered and in need of a healthy local church community.
Through prayer, growing conviction, the counsel of church elders, and the evident providence of God, we became convinced that the Lord was leading us to plant a church in Utah.
Today, we continue to follow that calling as a family, trusting God to establish His church and to use Living Hope Church to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and build up His people.
Our Vision
Our vision is to see a Christ-centered, Bible-rooted church in Utah transformed by the gospel, where people grow as faithful disciples, worship God wholeheartedly, and extend the living hope of the risen Christ to our city and the nations.
Our Mission
Our mission is to glorify God by proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and making disciples who live in the hope secured by His resurrection.

What We Believe
1. Word Of God
We believe that the Bible consists of only 66 books and is the inspired, inerrant, infallible, sufficient, unchangeable, and complete Word of God and the final authority for faith and life.
2. God
We believe in one living and true God, eternally existing in three distinct Persons — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit — equal in nature and worthy of equal worship and obedience.
3. Man
We believe that man was created by God in His image and likeness to glorify Him, enjoy communion with Him, and have dominion over His creation. Through Adam’s disobedience, man fell into sin and became spiritually dead, under God’s judgment, and unable to do what is pleasing to God apart from His grace. Therefore, salvation is wholly dependent on God’s grace through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.
4. Sin
We believe that sin entered the world through Adam’s disobedience to God, as he rebelled against God’s authority and rejected His Word. Through Adam’s fall, all humanity became guilty before God and inherited a fallen and corrupted nature, being conceived and born in sin and subject to spiritual and physical death. Apart from God’s grace, man is spiritually dead, enslaved to sin, unable and unwilling to do what is pleasing to God, and deserving of God’s righteous judgment.
5. Salvation
We believe that salvation is wholly of God, by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and not by human merit or works. Before the foundation of the world, God sovereignly chose His people in Christ and, according to His grace, brings them to repentance and faith through the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit. Through the perfect obedience, sacrificial death, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, God justifies sinners by faith, forgives their sins, and grants them eternal life. Those whom God saves, He sanctifies and preserves in faith to the end, bringing them to final glorification.
6. Church
We believe that the Church is the spiritual body of Christ, consisting of all who belong to Him through faith, with Christ as its Head and the Word of God as its supreme authority. We believe that the Church is expressed through local churches where believers gather for worship, the preaching and teaching of God’s Word, fellowship, prayer, the ordinances, discipleship, and mutual edification. We believe that each local church is led by biblically qualified elders and served by deacons according to Scripture, and is responsible before Christ for its own doctrine, worship, discipline, and ministry.
7. Great Commission
We believe that Jesus Christ has commanded His Church to proclaim the gospel and make disciples of all nations until He returns, calling people to repentance and faith in Him.
8. Last Things
We believe that Jesus Christ will return bodily in power and glory to gather His Church, establish His millennial kingdom on earth, judge the living and the dead, and bring all things to their appointed end. We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people, the eternal punishment of the unbelieving, and the eternal life of the redeemed with God in the new heavens and new earth.
